Mother and Child

Kelly Chris and Rylee are getting settled in their new home, most of the finishing touches are done now;meaning since they just barley moved in Saturday/Sunday and had baby Rylee on Friday, some of the workers were not yet done, so they not only brought home a newborn, they have had workers coming and going for a couple of weeks. Probably not such a bad thing since they are up every 2 hours round the clock, so they really don't know what day or time it is anyhow! Rylee is really a very good baby, but for those of you that can think back to those days, good baby or not, you don't get much sleep!

I have had the great excuse to be next door almost everyday, working on my house, so I get to sneak in and check up on the new family.

It reminds me how nice this Grandma thing is, I get to love on the kids, then when things start to get a little crazy, it is time for me to leave. Life is sweet! In a couple of months I will have all three of them basically next door, so I feel like the luckiest MeMa in the world. Love them, then go home.

Fast Forward to the Important stuff!

Holiday's came and went with all the normal crazyness that comes with time of year, then Bingo it is January and everyone is helping Kelly and Chris as much as they can to get moved out of their rental and into their new home they have built, before the baby comes.

That is the plan; but we have a few things to do before the move in date, have a Baby Shower!

So friends (Jen came all the way from New York) and family got together and tried to spoil Kelly for a few hours, while the boys were working on packing and getting ready for the big move the very next week.

MeMa is so excited! A baby girl is on the way.

Kelly and Chris on Thanksgiving Day. The final countdown is getting closer. February will be here in no time. WE are all so excited about our new family member arriving. She is so strong and active I am already looking for a heavy duty high chair for next Thanksgiving.
See, that is real reason my new house got larger, for more grandchildren!
This was another toast to our Thanksgiving this year, we are so thankful for our new cousin, daughter, granddaughter, and niece.
